Hero soldier died leading hunt for Taliban bomb factory
Hero soldier Corporal Joe Etchells was killed by a huge land mine blast as he led a mission to find a Taliban bomb factory, an inquest heard. Cpl Etchells, 22, from Mossley, Tameside, was on patrol in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, when the bomb was detonated in a narrow alleyway.
