Tanning for prom? FDA looks at tougher restrictions for teens
Nearly one half of the clientele at one Le Mars tanning salon are teenagers, according to the owner. Those numbers could change if the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) goes ahead with making indoor tanning regulations more restrictive — especially for teens.
